What Is Lambda (LAMB)?
Lambda is a decentralized storage network and a distributed storage asset Defi protocol. The storage protocol has safe, dependable, and infinitely expandable features along with a P2P network and revolutionary proof of space-time (PoST) technology. Lambda aims to encourage internet decentralization and build a storage system for the next generation of blockchain. Proof of space-time (PoST) is a technique for demonstrating that a network participant has provided sufficient storage space to a network.
According to the whitepaper, decentralized information storage, data security, security validation, and market-oriented storage transactions can be saved on the Lambda Chain consensus network. The network seeks to offer the coming generations of the internet with infinite expanding data storage capacity. The consensus network aims to ensure data integrity and security in place of centralized storage's brand extension. The network also intends to use blockchain to accomplish the required technical data security and integrity verification process.
Lambda aims to use economic processes like pledging, validator promotion, secondary distribution of storage fees, and miner credit to allow storage miners to develop their technology. The network also employs similar penalty mechanisms to ensure that miners can offer consumers storage space consistently. To satisfy customer expectations, Lambda seeks to implement the Bancor mechanism to provide automated market-makers (AMM) in the background.
The Lambda network aims to utilize a dual token model. LAMB and TBB are the tokens employed in the Lambda network. LAMB is the native token. The primary role of LAMB is to distribute block rewards, monetary movement, transaction costs, and fees associated with environmental applications. TBB is the network's digital asset, with related storage capacity, mining privileges, and storage space pledge transactions.
Lambda public chain looks forward to developing decentralized networks, decentralized computing, and commercial products based on the technical innovation of decentralized storage networks in the future.
History of Lambda (LAMB)
In December of 2017, the Lambda project was initiated. Lambda's whitepaper was published in June 2018. The founder and CEO of the Lambda network, Mr. HE Xiaoyang, is a well-known infrastructure and open-source software expert. The maximum supply of the Lambda token is 10 million LAMB coins.
