Game of DeFi is a play-to-earn yield guild that aims to empower gamers globally. Game of DeFi aims to be a charity-oriented gamer’s DAO where every holder of its governance token GOD can vote to make the world a better place. The background of Game of DeFi is the famous HBO TV series “Game of Thrones,” where everyone wished to sit on the iron throne.

Further, the GOD token combines the traditional world of DeFi yield farming with gaming. Game of DeFi also offers open scholarships and aims to bring constant utility to GOD tokens and the platform itself. The platform holds more than 250 AXIEs NFTs and nearly fifty scholars sponsored by the Game of DeFi Ltd.

The project originally started in March 2021 when there was just an idea of a gamified staking dApp and nothing more. In May, the GOD v1 was conducted wherein 60,000 tokens were minted, from which 40,000 were sold and eight hundred BNB was raised. Then the market crash happened, and it was found that simple staking Dapp was not enough. Later, the Axie Infinity scholarship was created, which initially was just a scholarship program but later turned into a real business.

Game of DeFi was launched in 2021. The team members include Delyan Zlatkow, the CEO and founder of Game of DeFi. He has experience in the crypto space since 2015. He became an early funder for AXS (Axie Infinity Shards) and GALA (Game Games); he decided to start his company and turn it into DAO later.
