XEN Crypto is a social mining project that aims to build a community of like-minded individuals. The XEN token is the native cryptocurrency of the XEN Crypto ecosystem, which operates on the Ethereum blockchain using the ERC20 token standard. The supply of XEN is created solely through the minting of coins by individuals participating in the Proof-of-Participation (PoP) protocol, with no initial supply of coins available for the cryptocurrency. XEN Crypto provides users with similar functionality to an ERC20 token, allowing them to trade other cryptocurrencies and NFTs. It aims to achieve maximum liquidity through widespread adoption.

XEN Crypto aims to provide users with a platform for social mining, fostering a community of like-minded individuals. XEN Crypto was launched in October 2022 by the Fair Crypto Foundation. The creator of XEN Crypto is Jack Levin, who is reportedly a former Google executive. After the Ethereum Merge, XEN used nearly 50% of Ethereum's block size at one point, dominating the burn leaderboard and causing a rise in ETH gas prices.
