What Is Kryll (KRL)?
Kryll (KRL) is a community of crypto traders and automated trading strategies building platform. The platform is a user-generated trading strategies marketplace.
Interestingly, Kryll aims to provide intuitive ways for cryptocurrency traders to create their trading strategies that can be set to execute automatically. As per the Whiteaper, Traders can rent out their winning strategies to help fellow traders succeed on the platform. Traders are rewarded with passive income for sharing their strategies. The platform offers professional trading tools to everyone by providing a drag-and-drop strategy builder, which creates endless strategies and tests them for free.
However, trading is a technical domain requiring expertise spanning from performing technical analyses to machine learning and semantics analyses. Efficient trading requires resources like computational power to run intensive data models. Further, high-speed connections are needed to reach exchanges worldwide, and trading takes a lot of time, especially for a one-person team. Furthermore, special abilities are required to prepare the right strategy, analyze the relevant data, and get it ready to execute promptly 24/7 within moving markets.
As a solution to the inefficiencies mentioned above, the Kryll platform aims to fill in the gaps to offer everyone efficient trading tools. The platform has introduced "What You See Is What You Trade" (WYSIWYT) technology. Kryll provides a strategy-defining interface based on blocks and flow. A flow visually describes the confluence of signals, operators, and relevant data determining a particular strategy.
Through a WYSIWYT interface, traders can design strategies using industry tools and safely test them with backtesting and sandboxing. Once the tools are enrolled, traders can set them to live-trade on their behalf. A sandbox is a testing live-like environment used to ensure regulatory compliance and security checks for cryptocurrencies and blockchain-based systems. Sandboxing helps improve access to capital, leads to cost reduction, and guarantees adherence to compliance requirements. Backtesting is a tool traders or investors use to learn whether their initial idea is valid/profitable. Backtesting uses past data to see how a strategy would have performed.
Moreover, the platform offers five main family blocks to build a strategy:
Market Trends: These trends span from technical data analysis and studies (channel identification, pattern detection, resistance rejection, demand-zone detection) to the usual trend analysis (volume modification, price fluctuation) and modeling (machine-learning-based market prediction) units.
Trading Actions: These include buying, selling, splitting amount into subsets, holding amount (like profits), loop, and stop.
Signals: These are qualified Telegram channels or social network semantic analyses.
Operators: They are meant to organize data feeds and signal interactions.
Notifications: Keep the traders informed of a strategy's status through an email, smart notification, or text message.
Additionally, the platform offers the Kryll Companion app, which enables access to the dashboard, keeps connected in a much lower-key manner with the crypto trading status, and gets push notifications regarding the strategy. Moreover, the mobile application introduces further interactions with the strategies designed or selected by traders. This gives traders complete control over the trades.
KRL is the token of the Kryll platform and is an ERC20 token. KRLs are spent on the platform to promote live-trading strategies on a "pay for what you use" basis. The platform offers backtests, strategy creation, and sandbox testing free for all users. Further, the network does not charge additional fees—no commissions on trades, no subscription, and no hidden fees.
