What Is Don-key (DON)?

Don-key (DON) describes itself as the first social platform that gets together liquidity providers and yield farmers. Don-key reduces the entry barricade for both liquidity providers and yield farmers by unlocking the DeFi world for two different groups of individuals:

• those with lower funds for investment, and

• those who cannot commit themselves to master the skills and techniques required to partake in the DeFi world.

Don-key further claims to allow substantial yield to farmers to maximize the assets underneath their control while forging profit volume for investors and farmers. The platform functions for the low-capital or inexperienced individual who desires to join the DeFi world. The platform's vision is to give investors and farmers a gamified social trading experience and an effortless planning instrument and positions while delivering plentiful liquidity to implement their strategies.

A proprietary Sortino Ratio algorithm is used to rate the Don-Key yield farmers, scoring a portfolio's risk-adjusted earnings relative to a trade target utilizing downside risk. The platform improved the algorithm underneath modern portfolio theory to meet platform requirements and DeFi standards. Every strategy has an associated risk score to make the investors' lives more comfortable and build a proper comparison table between various strategies. This score is denoted by a digit between one and ten, where one is the lowest and ten is the highest risk. The initial risk score is selected when the first system is updated and deployed as more systems are attached to the farmer's profile.

In the first quarter of 2021, the Don-key platform offered smart contracts, network development, and protocols integrations. New tools were developed for multi-cross-chain and gas expense savings in the third quarter.
