What Is Voice Token (VOICE)?

NIX Bridge Token (NBT), now known as Voice, is a cryptocurrency built on an Ethereum network powered by the Mute ecosystem that follows the standards of the ERC-20 token. Using the Mute platform, users can track, manage, and privately trade their assets and VOICE in the crypto market. The decentralized community-driven platform aims to make the cryptocurrency and DeFi trading market more accessible for its users.

Mute is a Zero-Knowledge Rollup-based Automated Market Maker (AMM) exchange and a yield farming platform. Zero-Knowledge Rollups (ZK-Rollups) are smart contracts that scale the Ethereum network by processing multiple transfers off the main blockchain. This means that users can trade and manage their tokens on the platform without paying a high gas fee too securely.

According to its whitepaper, the platform also seeks to launch Voice control, an innovative governance DaApp that upgrades the entire Mute ecosystem. The key points that Voice governance aims to include in its dapp are:

• Any amount of VOICE holding can provide eligibility to vote

• Possibility to delegate users' votes to other controllers

• Minimum 500 VOICE tokens needed for submitting a proposal

• Twenty percent supply quorum is needed with >50 oercent approval to pass the proposal The Mute platform runs a community-governed DAO structure with its two tokens, VOICE and MUTE, work in tandem. Here, VOICE is a governance token, and MUTE is the gas that powers the ecosystem's growth. Using VOICE, users can submit proposals or funding requests to improve the ecosystem. Further, VOICE holders benefit directly from 30 percent of revenue based on the repurchase and mint initiative.

NIX Bridge Token became available to swap with the new ERC-20 token MUTE on March 1, 2021. NBT native governance token was renamed as VOICE. The platform has a maximum supply of 44,613 VOICE tokens.
