Sandclock (QUARTZ) is a platform that empowers users to develop their foundations responsibly by implementing advanced yield optimizing strategies. The system automates the finance of assets, so they can never fail if a user trades with their capital earnings. The platform allows users to reduce their risk by assigning a portion or the total yield to various techniques, as specified by the user. It also supports standard DCA tactics based on a proportion of your money.

QUARTZ is the official token of the platform that enables decentralized governance within the ecosystem. Users can utilize the QUARTZ token to participate in the Sandclock community and access the management, sponsor yield, and insurance. By staking the QUARTZ token, users benefit from an insurance fund that depends on proportionality to the fund's share. Users are entitled to receive the QUARTZ token for every donation they make. Also, a part of the fees generated by the vaults of the platform is redeposited to the protocol. The yield generation is then distributed to the users. The users who have staked QUARTZ in the ecosystem can leverage the advantage of a boost in the future again as per their stake.

As per the whitepaper, the platform is acquiring all the required licenses to be the gateway for attractive institutional deposits. Cristiano Teixeira founded the platform Sandclock. Other members of the core team include Elizabeth Teixeira and Dr. Qasim Rasi.
