What Is Defina Finance (FINA)?
Defina Finance (FINA) is an online blockchain game that uses and incorporates DeFi (decentralized finance) and NFT (non-fungible token) to let players own their gaming assets and monetize them via playing and training. The objective of this platform is to bring blockchain to millions of players, letting them explore a new form of gaming via blockchain technology.
The vision of Defina is to create a gaming community where the users can collect, play, and earn through a play-to-earn design. Further, the network aims to equip the community with the ability to govern the direction of the Defina game via FINA token. Also, the platform aims to provide opportunities to the users to share revenue through gaming and having ownership of their digital assets.
FINA is the governance token of the Defina network. This token is a Binance Smart Chain-based utility and governance token used throughout the Defina ecosystem and much more. A Binance Smart Chain is a blockchain network created for operating smart contract-based applications. According to the whitepaper, the various utilities of this token are:
Purchasing Mystery Boxes to mint the heroes. Minting means verifying information, making a new block, and recording that information into the blockchain.
It can be utilized to trade Hero NFTs in the secondary marketplace.
The players can use this token for purchasing in-game assets such as consumables (Rebirth Crystals, Breakthrough Potions, Stamina Potions).
The user can use the token for enhancing heroes by using Rebirth and Resonance.
The users can also utilize this token for staking in the PVP Mining Pools to boost yield.
History of Defina Finance (FINA)
As per the whitepaper, the Defina network has achieved several milestones. In phase 1, the platform set up its website and social channel, developed MVP game and game mechanics, and raised seed and private equity. In phase 2, the network released its Beta version of the game, made some website improvements, IDO via third-party platforms, and many more. In the recent phase, phase 3, the Defina platform did a marketplace launch and staking pool launch, conducted a fan art competition, opened Beta launch (3 game modes, Adventure, Arena, Mining), and designed new game modes (Tower challenge, Squid Game).
