Yes, Wrapped Axelar (WAXL) can be allocated, but it requires conversion to its native form, AXL, before allocation. The process involves a few steps. First, ensure you have native AXL. If you hold AXL in an EVM wallet like MetaMask, it's wrapped AXL. You can convert it to native AXL using Squid, a liquidity router built on Axelar. Once you have native AXL in a Cosmos-compatible wallet like Ledger, Keplr, or Cosmostation, you need to select a validator to assign your tokens to on the Axelar network. After choosing a validator, enter the amount of tokens you wish to allocate and approve the transaction. The transaction is processed via the Tendermint consensus. You can verify your token allocation by checking the transaction hash on Axelarscan. Please note that if you want to reassign your allocated AXL, you must first remove it from its current assignment, a process that requires seven days and involves a small gas fee.
