What is uPlexa (UPX)?
uPlexa is a peer-to-peer electronic payment system that focuses on harnessing the power of the IoT or Internet of things and privacy. To make life easier, the Internet of Things is a network of physical objects that can interact. These objects are installed with software, sensors, and various technologies to connect and exchange data with other devices and systems over the Internet. As mentioned in the whitepaper, uPlexa was created to connect the collective power of IoT (Internet of things) devices as a whole, and uPlexa is built on its own blockchain. It is worth noting that the world's IoT devices number is over 31 billion, with a prediction of 125 billion by 2030.
The uPlexa platform utilizes a modified version of the Cryptonote algorithm to ensure completely private transactions and that users' data is consistently secure. The CryptoNote algorithm is open-source, adopted, and implemented into uPlexa because it is the foundation for a reliable and well-tested cryptocurrency core. Monero (a popular cryptocurrency) and Bytecoin employ the same underlying blockchain technology. Apart from this, uPlexa is deemed environmentally friendly because of its low-power architecture. The uPlexa blockchain can be accessed and mined simply from the web, with no need to download additional software. There are, however, downloadable programs available.
Further, there are numerous choices available for commerce. Brick-and-mortar businesses, online brands, and social commerce are examples of this. Supporting trade and enterprises of all sizes is one of uPlexa's main priorities. To do this, uPlexa has provided NodeJS, PHP, and Python integration libraries and direct plugins for WooCommerce, Magento, Prestashop, Opencart, and WHMCS. uPlexa also supports Shopify, WCMarketPlace, Crypto Invoice, Twitch, Youtube, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Streamlabs, and Website Donations.
