What Is Unipilot (PILOT)?

Unipilot (PILOT) is an automated liquidity manager protocol aiming to maximize “in-range” intervals for capital. The maximization is by optimizing the rebalancing of the liquidity pools. The protocol seeks to optimize users’ liquidity, allowing them to earn considerable liquidity fees.

As per its whitepaper, liquidity concentration gives liquidity providers the ability to concentrate their capital within custom price ranges. This provides significant liquidity at desired prices. Liquidity refers to the ease with which a security or an asset converts into ready cash without affecting its market price. The challenge with concentrated liquidity is keeping it “in-range” to earn consistent fees for users. Other problems include high transaction fees and complexity within the pools. Unipilot’s protocol aims to resolve the issues of high fees and complexity. The protocol also seeks to permit the efficient allocation of capital to Uniswap v3 liquidity and similar pools. Thus, Unipilot aims to keep liquidity in range for users.

Another important feature of the Unipilot platform is the Unipilot Vaults. These vaults assist in managing the liquidity of users. Each time there is a currency pair, a vault is created. Unipilot aims at simplifying creating a new vault for users. The Pilot protocol, universal and decentralized, interacts with Uniswap v3 and creates a new NFT for that vault. After deploying the vault and creating a new NFT, new users join that vault. The NFT contains the cumulative liquidity of that vault. Furthermore, to ensure the liquidity of each vault in an optimum range, the vault readjustment function is done by users. Users making this adjustment are known as captains.

The protocol introduced the PILOT token as a store of utility and value. The PILOT token is a utility/governance token that seeks to provide liquidity on Uniswap. The token aims to attain further utility with the Unipilot protocol by implementing additional features. The token seeks to offer four features to users: 

• Adding liquidity with a single token

• Availing of interest-free loans

• Offering flash fees

• Providing universal support

History of Unipilot

Unipilot is a product developed under the project VoirStudio and collaborated by Xord. The co-founder and CEO of the VoirStudio project is Asad Naeem, with Abdul Sami being the CEO of Xord, and Shakeib Shaida the CTO of Xord. The platform’s roadmap includes coding the protocol update, redesigning the Unipilot website, providing the Unipilot ambassador, and designing the PILOT token stats application.
