What IsRPS LEAGUE (RPS)?
RPS League is an NFT (non-fungible token) game, inspired by the Rock Paper Scissors game, in which users can play against people owning the native team. RPS seeks to be the Rock Paper Scissors league in the blockchain world. The platform aims to be popular and welcome any player to participate, have fun and play-to-earn by allowing players to play daily PVP (Player v/s Player) games and receive rewards.
According to its whitepaper, RPS features two game modes and three types of boxes containing different types of NFT. These are as follows:
Hands Box: The box contains three hands. Upon opening the box, players get the three gestures to play (Rock, Paper, and Scissors).
Accessories Box: The box contains four types of accessories (three thousand wearables) offering functionalities upon a player’s equipment.
Lands Box: The box contains the different lands (one hundred lands) where the game takes place. The level of rarities is as per the hands and helps decide the rewards.
PVE (Player v/s Environment) Mode: Users can play the mode as many times as they have energy. In the mode, the partakers play against the RPS team.
PVP (Player v/s Player) Mode: Participants play the mode without losing energy.
Weekly League: The weekly league is available to all players in the ecosystem, regardless of the rarity.
League of Races: Players with pure teams (three hands of the same rarity) can participate in the League of Races.
RPS LEAGUE (RPS) works as the native cryptocurrency for RPS League. Players can use RPS tokens to sign up for weekly tournaments, trade NFTs on the market, and more. Also, the RPS token can be bet on each game in PVP Mode. In addition, the marketplace aims to use RPS as the exchange token.
History of RPS LEAGUE (RPS)
The RPS Core League team was founded in Q2 2021. The team includes co-founders Ian Rock, Tom Paper, and Fred Scissors. In addition, the team includes developers, system analysts, graphic designers, environment designers, full-stack engineers, advisors, and ambassadors. The total supply of the token 12,000,000.
