What Is Rome (ROME)?
RomeDAO is a community-based project designed to make governance both engaging and fun. Powered with DeFi governance, the currency seeks to promote community participation to keep the governance centralized. The asset is a cryptocurrency of Kusama and Polkadot blockchain. Kusama, an experimental network on the Polkadot blockchain, works as a testnet for the Polkadot ecosystem. Besides this, the network deployed its cryptocurrency project on Moonriver, an EVM-compatible canary Network. Moonriver is a para chain of Kusama and allows cross-chain transactions.
Rome seeks to work on multiple objectives, which are as follows:
To help Moonriver and Moonbeam network grow and become a full-fledged ecosystem.
To facilitate RomeDAO in becoming the top holder of total liquidity in Kusama and Polkadot.
To establish governance power among Rome holders and participants in the RomeDAO ecosystem.
RomeDAO is a DAO project on Kusama Network. DAO is the acronym for decentralized autonomous organization and is responsible for automating decisions and helps in cryptocurrency transactions in the blockchain. Furthermore, ROMEDAO is accountable for every transaction that happens on the Moonriver. The currency aims to engage people in crypto communities and DAO by making governance fun by gamification of DeFi.
RomeDAO has set up five sub-DAOs, which are represented by five houses. These houses are House of CHAOS, House of GRAPES, House of SEMPRONIA, House of KEK, and House of CONSULs. Each of these houses seeks to act as a separate DAO with different rules and goals. When combined, these houses aim to govern the RomeDAO platform. House of CONSUL seeks to work as a traditional DAO and primarily focuses on governance, economic policy, community, etc.
ROME is the ticker of Rome cryptocurrency. When holders stake these tokens, they get sROME coin. These tokens are exchangeable with ROME in a ratio of 1:1. Whenever someone decides to exchange sROME with ROME, they get 1 ROME for exchanging 1 sROME.
