What Is Rasta Finance (RASTA)?
Rasta Finance is a community-driven project based on smart contracts. The project aims to be the leading network to host the DeFi protocols. The platform creates tools to connect the crypto world with real-world projects. Rasta Finance aims to create an ecosystem that helps the community maintain RASTA tokens' value. Therefore, the platform seeks to use advanced mechanisms on the blockchain and hold the knowledge and experience of the community. As stated in the whitepaper, the following three pillars are included in the platform to ensure the delivery of a long-term, high-quality solution to the users and the community:
The Trust Fund: To support the growth and the development of the community, Rasta Finance has established a Trust Fund. The Trust Fund rewards Rasta token holders with additional tokens to include Rasta tokens in their long-term holdings.
The platform's primary functions are yield farming and staking tokens. Yield farming is staking crypto assets and bringing high returns as an additional cryptocurrency. The transaction fee is based on 10% of all Farming Rewards, distributed in the following manner.
The Buoyancy Fund receives 4% of the total.
1% is distributed to the Trust Fund.
5% is allocated to The Operating Fund.
RASTA is a BEP-20 token of the Rasta Finance platform that works on the Binance Smart Chain. BEP-20 is a token standard that defines rules for tokens on Binance Smart Chain. RASTA is the official token of the project; on the other hand, ZION tokens are used as proof-of-stake on the platform. The RASTA tokens are issued exclusively for the community and traded to conform to the community's decision-making, open and democratic discussion, and a Blockchain-based voting platform.
