What Is Cere Network (CERE)?

Cere Network is a decentralized data cloud network used for service data integration and data collaboration. According to the vision paper of the asset, the aim of this network is to create an interoperable, efficient, and ethical solution that can help businesses with customer data management. In order to fulfill this aim, the currency has launched two specific products for businesses which are:

• Cere Freeport:An all-in-one solution suite for NFT-backed assets.

• Decentralized Data Cloud (DDC): This is a blockchain-based storage solution that is optimized to capture interactions between users’ (NFT) assets and applications.

  Thus, these aim to allow the platform to develop an interoperable structure inspired by Polkadot along with additional modular and interconnected layers that help maintain a distributed network. Further, to ensure the smooth functioning and maintenance of this distributed network, the asset introduced its cryptocurrency CERE token.

According to the litepaper of the currency, the CERE token is the native utility token of the platform that aims to serve the following three purposes on the network:

• SaaS DeFi Utility: The SaaS DeFi is the financial operating instrument of the Cere network that facilitates transactions for business houses. The CERE token is the utility token of the SaaS DeFi framework that aims to offer all financial transactions on the digital token of this network.

• Consensus Participation: The CERE token can be used for staking by validators and node operators, who are rewarded with additional tokens for their work on the Cere network. The validators are computers that maintain the blockchain's integrity by constantly computing the linkage from the first block to the last. Node operators are responsible for running the network software.

• Network Governance: The CERE token provides voting rights, through which the participants on the platform can decide on the future development and operation of the network.

History of Cere Network (CERE)

The Cere network was founded by Fred (CEO and cofounder), Kenzi (cofounder), and Ian (cofounder and CTO). The litepaper of the platform was launched in April 2020, while the vision paper of the platform was launched in October 2020. The currency's tokens have a maximum total supply of 10,000,000,000 CERE coins.
