What Is Artery Network (ARTR)?
Artery Network is a blockchain protocol. According to its website, the project allows a device to become a network validator, coin delegator, and product user simultaneously. The Artery Network is based on devices that include phones and computers. Such devices allocate free memory and internet connection to the Artery node products. These devices also claim to provide decentralization to the Artery storage and VPN products.
According to the project’s whitepaper, the Artery project provides users with helpful blockchain products in the form of network applications and enables the users to earn through them. The network includes three types of users: an incomplete node, a complete node or validator, and a delegator. An incomplete node is a device whose owner has allocated free memory and internet connection for the Artery blockchain. A complete node or validator is a device whose owner has staked native cryptocurrency and has a right to generate blocks to establish a system. The delegator is the application user who sends their native token for delegation and sends it to a different wallet for smooth functioning of the network.
The network claims to provide various services to its users. The artery protocol provides an artery wallet that conveniently intends to purchase and store native coins in the application. Artery storage is another service that allows safely storing of files, including photos and documents. Artery VPN is also there that helps access networks through various nodes working worldwide. Moreover, the protocol works on the mixed consensus mechanism of delegated proof of stake (DPoS) and proof of authority (PoA). Proof of Authority is a consensus mechanism that allows generating a block to only that node that has proven its authority.
ARTR is the native cryptocurrency of the artery network. ARTR is a utility token of the blockchain. The ARTR coin was created to access products based on the artery blockchain. Such product includes artery storage, artery VPN, and artery nodes. The artery node provides free memory with an internet connection and gets rewarded for it.
History of Artery Network (ARTR)
The artery network protocol was launched in 2020. The whitepaper was released on December 27, 2020. The total supply of ARTR tokens is four billion coins.
