OIN Finance is an organization that created OINDAO, which is a robust multi-chain decentralized stablecoin issuance platform. The platform aims to create DeFi infrastructure and provide DeFi functionalities for all crypto projects, small or big, to issue their own branded stablecoins collateralized by their tokens. Currently, the platform is built over Ethereum but aims to expand gradually to other ecosystems. OINDAO's ultimate aim is to build a multi-chain stablecoin universe. According to the whitepaper, the platform embraces cross-chain governance architecture.

OINDAO accepts the native tokens of its partnered public blockchain projects (Constellation Partners) as collateral. The Constellation Partners are a group of blockchain projects that work together to create their own branded stablecoins utilizing OINDAO. However, the minimum collateralization ratio (MCR) is one of the lowest C-Ratios (collateralization ratios) that a user must maintain to avoid triggering a liquidation event. Multiple MCRs can be set in the OINDAO system, depending on the volatility of its Constellation Partners' native coins. The C-Ratio is the mathematical link between the value of the user's collateralized assets and the value of the borrowed stablecoins.

The native token of OINDAO is OIN. OIN seeks to serve as a governance token for the various stablecoins, allowing them to determine their parameters, such as the minimum collateralization ratio, yield rate, token distribution, and treasury fund distribution. OIN token holders have the right to govern projects that issue stablecoins on the OINDAO platform, primarily reflected in community voting, which can opt to deploy multiple stablecoin versions and adjust the platform's parameters. 

OIN finance started the OINDAO project in August 2020. The total supply of the OIN token is 100 million.
