Users also receive HTR tokens as community rewards for promoting the local events and strategic partnership deals through the Bounty Program. The platform even enables users to create customized digital tokens on Hathor Network with just one click. The token works independently of the price of 1 HTR. The user can utilize the token for financial participation in a company, ownership of digital goods such as website domains, and voting.

The first testnet of Hathor was launched in May 2019, and the mainnet was launched on January 3rd, 2020.
