Shentu (CTK) is a delegated proof-of-stake blockchain that prioritizes security and aims to facilitate the execution of mission-critical applications. These applications encompass decentralized finance (DeFi), non-fungible tokens (NFTs), and autonomous vehicles. Shentu Chain is designed to be cross-chain compatible, with compatibility with EVM and Hyperledger Burrow, as well as eWASM and Ant Financial’s AntChain. CTK is the native digital utility fuel of Shentu Chain, serving as the core utility for on-chain functionalities.

Shentu operates through a delegated proof-of-stake consensus protocol, which aims to facilitate the execution of mission-critical applications. The platform's Security Oracle aims to provide real-time security insights for on-chain transactions, identifying and flagging potential vulnerabilities before they occur. Shentu also supports coding in DeepSEA, a programming language, which works directly with the Shentu Virtual Machine (SVM), a system that exposes smart contract and blockchain security information.

Shentu strives to provide a secure environment for the execution of mission-critical applications, including DeFi, NFTs, and autonomous vehicles. Its Security Oracle can be used by blockchain projects to receive real-time security insights for on-chain transactions, helping to identify and flag potential vulnerabilities before they occur. Shentu also supports coding in DeepSEA, a programming language, which can be used to create secure and reliable smart contracts.

Shentu was founded by a team of computer science professors who leveraged their research to build a delegated proof-of-stake blockchain with a focus on security. The platform was designed with a focus on security and trustworthiness in the blockchain, with an aim to facilitate the execution of mission-critical applications. Shentu has supported the development of a robust suite of technologies and tools to ensure that security and correctness are maintained throughout every phase of the blockchain lifecycle, from initial development to live usage. The platform's native digital utility fuel, CTK, serves as the core utility for on-chain functionalities.
