We Launched A New Design!

We’ve been working on a redesign of the site for a few months now, and we’re finally ready to unveil it to the public!

We started out with plain bootstrap when we launched Coinbase more than a year ago, and have only made minimal changes to it along the way. This made it very easy to rapidly build pages, but didn’t give us the most professional look and feel since it was so similar to all the other bootstrap sites out there.

With this design we wanted to capture the best of both words: retain the same bootstrap markup underneath that has allowed us to move fast while adding a new, professional look. After a number of iterations we’re very happy with how it turned out.

Special thanks goes out to Karri Saarinen for his help in bringing it all together. He did a truly amazing job in such a short amount of time.

We’ll continue iterating on it as we make progress and finish a few areas, but wanted to launch it to the public today.
