PocMon is one of the ambitious crypto communities that aims to reach the next frontier in the decentralized gaming experience. PocMon is a decentralized community project in the Binance Smart Chain. PocMon was earlier known by the name PocMon-old which was rebranded to Pocmon-new.

PocMon game is designed to meet decentralized gaming requests, from NFTs discovery, minting, and trading to play-to-earn gaming, lootballs (a peer-to-peer lottery), and blockchain games.

PocMon NFTs are real NFTs that are stored decentralized in ipfs. Also, only NFT owners can take any action with using the same. Furthermore, all other NFTs created on the PocMon marketplace correspond with other Dapps and marketplaces that use ipfs as NFT storage.

MON is the main currency of the PocMon platform used for various services like minting an NFT, creating or opening a lootball, and paying fees on MON. MON powers the ecosystem in the form of transaction fees. As per the document, a fee is charged from each NFT sale, and at the expense of this fee, a MON token is bought to be further sent to the burned wallet. Every transaction at PocMon is being taxed a 10 percent fee. Cryptocurrency burning is when a fraction of tokens are sent to a wallet with no private key. This means the tokens are lost forever. Tokens are usually burnt to reduce availability and increase market value.

PocMon-Old project was founded in early May 2021. Initially, the project was conceived as a meme-coin. Later a situation destroyed the PMON project team and stained its reputation.

The PocMon project was again formed with a new team engaged in the project development. The team includes a group of crypto enthusiasts who gather to develop a project. The team members have experience working on projects like Vancat, Safemoon, HELMET, and others.
