In June 2023 we will launch our Blockchain as a Service, which will allow for scalability through a greater variety of properties and token configurations to be uploaded for our community. EdgeX is a decentralized perpetual futures exchange that combines the speed and performance of centralized exchanges with the transparency and self-custody of DeFi. The platform features an off-chain order matching engine with on-chain settlement, enabling high-speed, low-latency trading across a wide range of crypto assets.  Due to a ticker collision, Coinbase will use the ticker "EDGEX" for this asset instead of its on-chain or MiCA whitepaper designation "EDGE".
