What Is Akropolis (AKRO)?
Akropolis is a platform operating on an Ethereum-based DeFi (decentralized finance) protocol that aims to provide an independent financial ecosystem for saving and expanding wealth through lending and borrowing. For achieving the aim, the platform seeks to offer a series of products, including AkropolisOS, a framework for creating for-profit decentralized independent organizations, Delphi, a tool for dollar-cost averaging, and a yield farming aggregator, as well as Sparta, a platform for uncollateralized lending.
In the present scenario, decentralized finance (DeFi) offers many opportunities for earning currency via staking, liquidity provision, and yield farming. However, various DeFi protocols offer different possibilities for yield generation and yield farming which may confuse new users and individuals who do not have much time to follow the news regularly.
Another important feature of Akropolis is setting an automated dollar-cost-average (DCA) strategy into assets/liquidity pools - focused on users who want to set up a long-term portfolio. DCA is an automated, periodic purchase of an asset. This network seeks to reduce operational costs as all funds are pooled and batched to diminish the gas costs.
Further, as per the website, the mission of this network is to provide users the tools to grow, save, and provide for tomorrow safely, with access to various noninflationary assets, without a dependency on a central counterparty.
This network claims that by using the Akropolis DApp, the users can:
Easily onboard onto DeFi through Dharma and Ramp Network.
Estimate and compare different assets' annual percent yield (APY) across top DeFi yield-generating strategies such as Yearn Finance Vaults.
Easily check their balance, average APY, and yield earned.
Claim yield rewards all in one place.
