Shambala, abbreviated as BALA, is a decentralized virtual gaming world that aims to create an ecosystem of creators. As per the whitepaper, the platform also encourages players to create and discover other fields such as architecture, fashion, exhibitions, virtual concerts, etc. Moreover, the platform has also integrated a play-and-earn game, where players can earn tokens in the game. 

In Shambala, metaverse users explore, develop, build, live together, and create various NFT assets. In the Shambala ecosystem, the identity of people, recreational activities, games, land, property, etc., are realized by various NFTs. AVATAR NFT is one among the other NFTs that exist in every game of Shambala. Each AVATAR NFT consists of five components: the face, accessories, hat, or hairstyle, clothes, and background. Besides, Shambhala also has a decentralized exchange (DEX) to swap tokens.

The citizens of the Shambala metaverse are known as Shambo. The native and governance token of the Shambala ecosystem is the BALA token. All the users receive BALA tokens for recognizing their participation and contribution to the platform. The BALA token is the token of Shambala Metaverse, Bala game, Bala Market games, NFT market, and social Dapp. However, GameFI has a different universal token called CHIP. The CHIP token is used for various in-game transactions, including tool purchases and labor income.
