The Society of Galactic Exploration app, abbreviated as SOGE, allows people to own NFTs developed from high-powered images captured from partnered observatories that have sold off the intellectual property rights to the platform’s tech. Further, the project seeks to offer an interactive astronomical study experience through a mobile application. This would enable users to act as their observatory or explore stars with the support of a trained astronomer and maintain the capacity to mint NFTs as souvenirs of their experience and retain the copyright of the work. Non-fungible tokens (NFTs) are tokens used for representing the ownership of unique things such as collectibles, arts, etc.
SGE is the ecosystem’s native token that can be utilized on the SOGE app. The token operates on the Ethereum network. According to the tokenomics, SGE has a 3% reflection transaction tax that uses the code developed by the reflect. Tokenomics refers to the study of the workings of cryptocurrencies within a broader ecosystem, such as token distribution and how they can incentivize positive behavior in the network. Also, the tax is mandatory and is distributed among all holders collectively.
In addition, the largest holding of the token is locked in permanent, inaccessible liquidity. Moreover, the token has a trustless development and marketing wallet that receives 5% of the tokens on every transaction and converts the tokens to Ethereum when a threshold of 0.1% of the supply is collected. In addition, one-fifth of the wallet goes to liquidity funding, and the remaining 4% goes to the development and marketing funds.
