Who is eligible to trade on Coinbase International Exchange?

Only non-US based institutions located in permissible jurisdictions are eligible to onboard on Coinbase International Exchange. Retail traders can visit coinbase.com/perpetuals to learn more about trading perpetual futures on Coinbase Advanced.

How do I get started?

Non-US based institutions in eligible regions/countries can submit an application and a member of our team will be in contact to determine eligibility and complete the onboarding process.

How do I connect to the exchange?

Once onboarding is complete, institutional clients can connect directly to the International Exchange via API or via the user interface.

What digital assets are available for trading?

We offer perpetual futures for BTC, ETH, LTC, XRP, and many others all settled in USDC. In addition, we offer trading for spot and pre-launch markets. For the most up-to-date listings and trading volume, visit international.coinbase.com.

Is Coinbase International Exchange available to retail traders?

Coinbase International Exchange powers perpetual futures trading on Coinbase Advanced for non-US professional investors and advanced retail users in eligible countries. Visit coinbase.com/perpetuals to learn more.

Some services offered on Coinbase International Exchange are provided through Coinbase Bermuda Limited ("CBBM”), an exempted company limited by shares incorporated in Bermuda, whose registered office address is 46 Reid Street, Suite 1H, Hamilton, HM12, Bermuda.

The CBBM board members include Directors Tom Duff Gordon and Dhawal Sharma, and Independent Director Michael Branco. The Chief Executive Officer is Usman Naeem, and the Chief Compliance Officer is Jeffrey Baron.

Business Continuity

At Coinbase International Exchange, we are committed to maintaining operational resilience in the face of unexpected disruptions. Our Business Continuity & Crisis Management Plan (BCCMP) is designed to safeguard our business operations and ensure we can continue to serve our customers with minimal interruption, even during unforeseen events. The key objectives of our Business Continuity Plan are to:

  • Minimize the impact of disruptions on Coinbase International Exchange's business operations.

  • Facilitate a structured and timely response to any business disruption.

  • Reduce the effects of events or disruptions at Coinbase International Exchange’s locations or sites.

  • Ensure a minimum operational capacity can be established and maintained immediately following a disruption, for up to 30 days or until normal operations can resume.

  • Define both short-term and long-term actions for continuity and recovery at specific Coinbase locations.

While no contingency plan can eliminate all risk or predict every event, Coinbase International Exchange remains committed to reviewing, updating, and testing the Business Continuity & Crisis Management Plan regularly to ensure the safety of our employees and the continuity of our operations.
