SafeShiba is a meme-based utility token of the SafeShiba ecosystem, a DeFi tokenomics 2.0. Meme coin is a cryptocurrency inspired by internet jokes or memes. The SafeShiba is also a deflationary token backed by Bitcoin, meaning 1% of all transactions are destroyed to value long-term holders. Also, being backed by Bitcoin seeks to make the token more secure and transparent. 

Of all transactions, 2% are converted into cryptocurrencies to help provide a floor price and improve price stability over time. Further, the project is secured and has 100% transparent code where all buybacks and Bitcoin transactions are wholly visible and traceable. The project seeks to improve while adding new features to aim to create utility and break the meme coin mold by providing long-term value. 

The SafeShiba ecosystem aims to provide holder-focused and fairly launched functions as there are no pre-mined tokens, no minting activities, and the platform is 100% transparent. Minting means creating new coins by validating information and recording that information into the blockchain. For the purpose of treasury fees for development, marketing, and buyback, only 2% of the total supplied tokens are offered to the platform. However, users get rewards by staking for the long term. 

At present, 7,400 plus holders have asset-backed SafeShiba with more than $170K. Approximately 4% of the token supply has already been removed from circulation. Users can get the tokens on PancakeSwap. 

As a part of the roadmap, the project seeks to use the treasury Bitcoin (BTC) to deliver at 0% APY (annual per year) loans to SafeShiba holders by launching a Lending App in quarter one of 2022. In the next quarter of 2022, the project is planning to launch DEX, through which AMM (automated market maker) provides more ways to create deflationary pressure. AMM is a tool utilized to supply liquidity (token pool) in decentralized finance (DeFi) without the intervention of a third party to set the price of an asset.
