About Blackrock MuniyieldBlackrock Muniyield Michigan Quality Fund Inc is a closed end fund. Its investment objective is to provide shareholders with a high level of current income exempt from federal and Michigan income taxes. The majority of the Fund's investments are made in a portfolio of investment-grade municipal obligations issued by or on behalf of the State of Michigan, its political subdivisions, agencies and instrumentalities and by other qualifying issuers, each of which pays interest that is excludable from gross income for federal income tax purposes and exempt from Michigan income taxes. It invests directly in securities or synthetically through the use of derivatives.
