The Tech100 Perp Style Futures contract allows traders to manage risk, trade on margin, or speculate on the price of the MarketVector US Listed Innovators 100 Index. This contract incorporates a funding rate mechanism to keep the futures prices closely aligned with the price of the index. Perpetual-style futures contracts also enjoy the 60/40 tax treatment, where 60% of the gains are taxed as long-term capital gains and 40% as short-term capital gains, regardless of the holding period.
