About Maple Finance
Maple Finance was founded in 2019 and launched its protocol in 2021. It is an overcollateralised onchain asset management platform offering institutional lending and permissionless yield products. Since launch, Maple has originated over $20 billion in loans. SYRUP is Maple's governance token, replacing the legacy MPL token via governance proposal MIP-010 in 2024 at a ratio of 1:100.
