AltCoin is a digital asset that strives to provide its holders with potential real-world utility through a virtual reality platform. The project's mission is to continuously improve its services to serve existing holders and attract new ones. AltCoin has implemented a reflection tax, which means holders are allocated a portion of every AltCoin transaction. The project's vision is to capitalize on the emerging Metaverse trend by delivering a high-quality VR/AR pirate game where users can build crews, create ships, cities, and ports, and sail the open seas. AltCoin's ecosystem includes NFTs, an NFT marketplace, AltCoin Swap, MydlMan for potential secure peer-to-peer transactions, and $altyverse, a pirate-themed Metaverse.

AltCoin operates on a tokenomics model that started with an initial supply of 1 trillion AltCoins, with an immediate burn of 200 billion coins before its public launch. The model includes an automatic burn of 1% per transaction, with 2% going back to holders via reflections and 3% allocated to the Marketing/Development Wallet for future costs. The team holds 3% of all tokens, and a charity wallet owns 5% of all tokens for future donations to ocean cleanup foundations. The remaining 92% of circulating tokens are available to the public.

AltCoin aims to offer potential use cases within its ecosystem. It strives to provide a platform for a high-quality VR/AR pirate game in the Metaverse, where users can engage in various activities such as building crews, creating ships, cities, and ports, and battling others for loot and treasure. Additionally, AltCoin intends to offer NFTs and an NFT marketplace, a platform for potential secure peer-to-peer transactions (MydlMan), and AltCoin Swap. The project also has a philanthropic aspect, with plans to donate to ocean cleanup foundations around the world.

AltCoin is led by a team of entrepreneurs and veterans from the United States Marine Corps and Army. The team includes Zachary Bostick (Capn' Drop), who heads the Marketing and Acquisition Department, and Shayn Mitchell (Capn' Crypto), who works on the website and collaborates with developers. Steven Porter (Ol' Grogg) brings his skills in media production and design, as well as proficiency in C++, Javascript, and PHP, to the project. The team's combined expertise and dedication strive to drive the project's mission and vision forward.
