On-chain users can stake their ETH to obtain WBETH by interacting with the official smart contract provided by Binance. The project was launched in Switzerland in 2017 and the ICO lasted from Dec 7th, 2017 to January 10th, 2018 where $50 million was raised to kickstart the project.
