Operon Origins (ORO) is a blockchain-based digital GameFi NFT collectible card game built by AAA game studio. The platform aims to function by providing a unique opportunity for players to discover the Operon metaverse either by holding, trading, or transferring the digital collectibles. Operon Origins aims to lower the financial constraints and complex accessibility barriers with an intuitive ecosystem design.
Blockchain games are expensive and promote inequality by several ambiguous gameplay features. As a result, blockchain games have become a natural barrier for non-cryptocurrency gamers. In contrast, Operon Origins advocates for a fair game, whereby players are not necessarily underpowered owing to financial constraints. Also, traditional gamers are a significant group of potential traders and consumers. To avail of this opportunity, Operon Origins aims to make their game accessible through zORO tokens obtained by playing the game.
According to webportal, the project claims to be the first-ever NFT (non-fungible token) combat card game. The GameFi industry has seen tremendous growth, with cryptocurrency games having more than 1 million unique players a month. Operon Origins seeks to be a collectible card game wherein players collect NFTs to battle with other players in a lively metaverse. Operon Origins continuously evolve and grow through adding new content, features, and NFTs by the players. The collectible NFTs of Operon Origins are rare, with only 5,000 NFTs. With time, more NFTs become available.
Furthermore, the project has an NFT marketplace with a trading fee of 5%, where players can trade their NFTs by payments through ORO tokens, native tokens of the Operon Origin ecosystem. Players can also auction their limited edition NFTs on the NFT marketplace.
The token ORO is the native token of the Operon Origins ecosystem that serves as a utility function available on decentralized and centralized exchanges. The utility function of ORO tokens is staking, trading, or payments for NFTs.
For the first 5,000 NFTs, players use ORO tokens to purchase NFTs as a payment for the NFT marketplace. After that, players have to use zORO tokens to buy NFTs; however, these zORO tokens are non-tradeable, obtained by staking ORO and playing the game.
