Tether’s issuer claims that USDT is backed by bank reserves and loans which match or exceed the value of USDT in circulation. Every Tether token is backed 100% by Tether's reserves, and Tether publishes a record of the current reserve assets, maintaining transparency.

Reeve Collins was the CEO of Tether for the first two years of its existence and has co-founded several successful companies. How Tether and Vietnamese Đồng differ
