TON/PKR: Convert Tokamak Network (TON) to Pakistani Rupee (PKR)

Tokamak Network (TON) is a decentralized layer-1 blockchain that hosts Toncoin, its native cryptocurrency. The network is open-source and supported by a community of developers and blockchain enthusiasts, including the Switzerland-based non-profit organization, the TON Foundation. Initially developed by the Telegram team, the technology has been independently developed since 2020. The TON Foundation's vision is to empower 500 million users to own their digital identity, data, and assets by 2028 by enabling developers to build a Web3 ecosystem in Telegram Messenger. Toncoin utilizes the proof-of-stake consensus model for network scalability and reliability.

TON operates on a multi-level structure built on the principle of sharding or segmentation, which can be thought of as "a blockchain of blockchains". This sharding feature involves the use of multiple subnets (shards) on the same blockchain, each with a specific purpose. This allows the network to avoid the accumulation of unverified blocks and significantly speeds up tasks. This sharding technology enables TON to scale effectively and efficiently, theoretically performing a near-limitless number of simultaneous, ultra-fast transactions. TON also offers services like TON Storage, TON Proxy, and TON DNS, which enhance the functionality of the network.

Toncoin, the native token of the TON network, is designed to fuel decentralized applications (dApps) within the ecosystem. It can be used to pay transaction processing fees and cross-chain transaction fees. The token can also be used as a staking payment to secure the blockchain. Other use cases include payment for decentralized data storage, TON DNS/TON Proxy, and other fees within TON-based decentralized services. Validator fees are also paid in TON. The network's capacity to scale while ensuring transactions remain cheap and fast makes it a suitable infrastructure for various applications.

The TON blockchain was initially developed by the Telegram team since 2017, with a native cryptocurrency named 'Gram.' However, in May 2020, Telegram founder and CEO Pavel Durov announced the end of Telegram's involvement with the TON Blockchain following a court order by the SEC. The Gram token was never issued. Since then, the technology has been developed by an independent community of developers and blockchain enthusiasts, with the non-profit TON Foundation being the most prominent supporter. The blockchain was renamed from "Telegram Open Network" to "The Open Network," with Toncoin now the native cryptocurrency of the TON network.
