2022MOON (2022M) is a DeFi project that connects users via Gamefi, non-fungible tokens (NFT), music festivals, etc. The project also has a decentralized exchange (DEX) to trade cryptocurrency and earn returns. The DEX charges lower transaction fees from the users and gives convenience to new crypto projects to list coins without paying huge exchange fees. Here, DEX solves problems of centralized exchange (CEX) like security, third-party involvement, higher transaction fees, ownership, etc. CEX means a centralized online platform to trade cryptocurrency with the involvement of third parties. According to its whitepaper, the project aims to develop a transparent and practical donation system. The system plans to facilitate research activities through sponsorship and donations to non-profit organizations for space science gifted students.

Initially, the project started as a meme coin, and later developed into a project that focuses on becoming a more transparent and effective way of communication between the community members. Meme coins mean cryptocurrencies inspired by jokes or memes on social media.

2022M is the native token of the 2022MOON project. The project minted 2022M on the Ethereum and Binance smart chain (BSC) and plans to create 2022M tokens on the other chains, too, like Solana, Polygon, Cardano, etc. The tokens have the same value and must be paired with each other. Since these tokens run on different networks, the project aims to launch a cross-chain exchange. 

2022MOON charges 10 percent per transaction on every swap and transfer. Here, 2 percent goes to the liquidity pool, and the other 2 percent goes back to the users as a reward. The remaining 6 percent gets utilized for buyback, burn, and marketing. Burn means when the tokens are sent to a wallet with no private key to remove the tokens from circulation permanently. Such scenarios reduce availability and increase the market value of the token.  

The 2022MOON project came into existence in Q1 2022. On the Ethereum mainnet, the total supply of the 2022MOON project is 500,000,000,000,000 2022M, whereas on BSC, the total supply is 2,000,000,000,000,000 2022M.
