Win up to ₹3.3 Cr with Coinbase Champions Cup: India

You can participate if: 

• At least 18 years old (or the age of majority in the Participant’s state or union territory of residence in India, if higher),

• A lawful resident of India,

• Have completed identity verification and maintain an active Coinbase account with Coinbase India Private Limited ("CIPL"), and

• Be onboarded to Coinbase Advanced (Coinbase's perpetual futures trading interface)

Only trades in perpetual pairs on Coinbase Advanced for India users are counted. Spot trades and trades in ineligible markets or entities do not count toward leaderboards or unlock thresholds.

To appear on any leaderboard and be eligible for prizes, you must:

• Complete registration, and

• Trade at least 100 USDC in notional volume in eligible perps during the competition window.

Additional anti‑abuse checks may apply before final prize eligibility is confirmed.

There are up to three independent leaderboards, each with its own prize slice:

• Notional P&L: ranks traders by adjusted P&L in USDC, which includes both realized and unrealized PnL from eligible perps while excluding net deposits/withdrawals.

• % P&L: ranks traders by percentage return on capital, using the same Adjusted PnL but normalized by a capital base so smaller and larger accounts can compete more fairly.

• Trading volume: ranks traders by total notional perps volume in eligible markets, excluding trades flagged as wash or abusive.

Leaderboards update based on activity during the competition window only.

Each leaderboard has its own prize pool allocation. Top ranks across the Volume, Notional P&L, and % P&L leaderboards will receive prizes rewarded in USDC, with amounts varying by rank and leaderboard. The same trader can place on multiple leaderboards and earn prizes from each, subject to terms and anti‑abuse rules.

The competition uses a variable prize pool, meaning that the prize pool increases as the community volume increases:

• 50K USDC is always funded as the base pool.

• Six additional prize pool tiering can unlock as total eligible perps volume in the competition reaches predefined thresholds, for a maximum of 350K USDC.

• At each tier, the pool is split across the three leaderboards.

After the competition ends and winners are verified:

• Leaderboard prizes will be distributed in USDC to eligible winners’ Coinbase accounts according to the published prize schedule.

• Coinbase will also refund 1% of positive PnL (up to a $20K cap per user) in USDC for all users with positive P&L. Users with zero or negative Adjusted PnL are not eligible.
