GDAX operates the largest digital asset exchange in the United States. Our product is designed for institutions and professional traders who require a performant and reliable spot exchange. As blockchain-based digital assets create an open financial system for the world, traders will need a place to discover, access, and exchange these assets. The Head of Institutional Sales will build and manage relationships with our largest traders, ensuring GDAX becomes one the leading exchanges in the world.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage relationships with institutional clients in the U.S. and abroad
  • Lead sales efforts to deliver key revenue targets for the company
  • Build and manage a global sales team

Requirements

  • 10+ years experience working at a bulge bracket bank, institutional exchange, or financial services firm
  • Experience selling financial products to customers in the quantitative trading, foreign exchange, or asset management markets
  • Knowledge of the financial services industry, preferably in the electronic trading and market making spaces
  • Strong strategic thinking and client-facing communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time
  • Passion for blockchain technology and desire to help create an open financial system for the world
