@SenTedCruz July 20, 2022 on Twitter

@SenTedCruz May 23, 2022 on Twitter

"The federal government has the ability to encourage and nurture innovation in the cryptocurrency space, or to completely devastate it. 🔽READ MORE BELOW🔽"

@SenTedCruz April 2, 2022 on Twitter

"The federal government has the ability to encourage and nurture innovation in the cryptocurrency space, or to completely devastate it. This bill goes a long way in making sure big government doesn’t attempt to centralize and control cryptocurrency."

@SenTedCruz March 31, 2022 on Twitter

"This past week, I proposed a bill to repeal the overly broad and poorly-crafted #crypto provisions from the infrastructure package. #Bitcoin #BlockChain"

@SenTedCruz November 21, 2021 on Twitter

"Proud that Texas is becoming an oasis for the #blockchain community, for #Bitcoin miners, and for innovators in the #crypto world. Unfortunately, the one thing that is capable of screwing all of this up is the United States Congress."

@SenTedCruz November 17, 2021 on Twitter

"The Lone Star State has quickly emerged as the main hub for the cryptocurrency industry, and that exciting industry is now in danger of being stifled and driven overseas by an overreaching provision in this newly-signed, reckless spending package. As a deliberative body, the Senate should have done its job and held hearings to properly understand the consequences of legislating on this emerging industry before we risked the livelihoods and privacy of participating Americans. I urge my colleagues in the Senate to repeal this harmful language that will create regulatory uncertainty and in turn an unnecessary barrier to innovation."

@SenTedCruz November 16, 2021 on Twitter

"Today, It’s easy to see why Texas is hailed as America's crypto capital. Thanks for having me @txblockchain1 to talk to @jimmysong about how Texas is leading the way in the innovative industry of cryptocurrency & blockchain technology at the inaugural #TexasBlockchainSummit!"

@SenTedCruz October 8, 2021 on Twitter

"The Democrats’ infrastructure bill will devastate the cryptocurrency industry by imposing crushing regulations. I tried to offer multiple amendments to improve this provision. When those were rejected, I fought to strike the provision altogether, so we could hold public hearings and thoughtfully consider the consequences of this section through regular order. That effort was blocked too. You can barely find five senators who understand anything about cryptocurrency, but apparently, that won’t stop us from regulating it to death and driving this promising industry overseas."

@SenTedCruz August 10, 2021 on Twitter

"This infrastructure bill has in it a portion that is designed to obliterate #crypto. That would be a tragic mistake."

@SenTedCruz August 10, 2021 on Twitter

"The Senate should actually take the time to try to understand #crypto before even thinking of regulating it the way we're doing. Washington, D.C. is destroying people's lives and livelihoods from a position of functionally complete ignorance."

@SenTedCruz August 9, 2021 on Twitter

"It’s time to enable congressional cafeterias, vending machines, and gift shops to accept crypto payments."

@SenTedCruz November 2, 2021 on Twitter

"Congress shouldn’t stifle the innovation and creativity in emerging #cryptocurrency industries."

@SenTedCruz November 18, 2021 on Twitter

"Texas will continue to be a hub for cryptocurrency innovation!"

@SenTedCruz November 18, 2021 on Twitter

"Bitcoin and crypto represent freedom. It's not surprising that there is tremendous pushback from most Democrats because they cannot control cryptocurrencies. Thank you to the @HeritageFoundation for hosting this exciting discussion tonight."

@SenTedCruz May 23, 2022 on Twitter

"Not only is Saule Omarova, Biden’s pick to lead the OCC, a threat to our traditional economy, she also wants to regulate crypto into oblivion. Crypto faces future-defining government regulations. This nomination needs to be stopped."

@SenTedCruz September 28, 2021 on Twitter

"Texas will continue leading the way in crypto innovation and development!"

@SenTedCruz May 23, 2022 on Twitter

"If the underlying language in this infrastructure bill goes into effect, it will have devastating effects on #crypto."
