What Is iZumi Finance (IZI)?
iZumi Finance abbreviated as IZI is an ERC-20 based token that offers financial services to consumers. iZumi Finance is built on the open-source smart contract. The iZumi’s website is publicly visible to maintain the maximum transparency standards. The iZumi protocol has its smart contract audited by CertiK. The iZumi Finance platform aims to help projects attract finance from various chains and decentralized exchanges (DEX). Moreover, iZumi Finance claims to provide a versatile financial platform to consumers on Ethereum with the launch of Uniswap V3.
As per its website, the liquidity providers (brokers or investors) on iZumi Finance can earn mining rewards as well as trading fees on the Uniswap V3. Whenever the price changes the investors suffer some loss in liquidity profits. A ‘liquidbox’ aims to compensate for the frequent losses of the investors within a specified range.
Users can get rewards in two parts i.e., for trading and for staking in iZumi Finance. First is the trading fees and the other one is incentive rewards. The liquidity providers in this platform can earn more incentives with the Uniswap V3 tokens. As per the protocol, the reward providers need to trade on IZI tokens(native token) to activate and bid for the farm rewards. iZumi platform's utility token is also IZI. The token can be used to pay trading fees in multiple chains and offer incentives. Moreover, the users also need to stake the IZI token and can receive a ‘VE-IZI’ token. Ve-iZi token is the governance token that provides varied benefits to the holders. VE-IZI token is not transferable or tradable and it can be obtained only by staking IZI tokens.
