Third Party Electronic ID Verification Service Vendors

We share your information with third- party identity verification services in order to prevent fraud. Our verification processes involve electronic identification through the comparison of your ‘selfie’ against your provided verification information (“eIDV”). eIDV service providers process your biometric information and may create derivative data that can be used in connection with the provision of identity verification and fraud prevention services. These service providers act as data controllers in their own right, meaning that you should carefully review their Privacy Policies and associated documentation to understand how your personal data may be processed.

Below is a list of vendors that we may use from time to time:

Jumio Corporation or Jumio UK, Limited (collectively “Jumio”)

• We may use Jumio to: (i) verify your identity by comparing the facial scan data extracted from your selfie or video with the photo in your government issued identity document; and (ii) prevent and detect fraud, including by using your facial scan data to determine whether Onfido has previously verified your identity on our behalf. Jumio will process, store, retain, and delete your personal information, including biometric data, in accordance with Jumio's Privacy Policy, available at https://www.jumio.com/legal-information/privacy-policy/jumio-inc-privacy-policy-for-online-services/.

Onfido Inc or Onfido Ltd (collectively “Onfido”)

• We may use Onfido to (i) verify your identity by comparing the facial scan data extracted from your selfie or video with the photo in your government issued identity document and (ii) prevent and detect fraud, including by using your facial scan data to determine whether Onfido has previously verified your identity on our behalf.  Onfido will process, store, retain and delete your personal information, including biometric data, in accordance with Onfido's Privacy Policy and Facial Scan Policy and Release available at https://onfido.com/privacy/ and https://onfido.com/facial-scan-policy-and-release/.

Au10tix LTD (“Au10tix”)

• We may use Au10tix to (i) verify your identity by comparing the facial scan data extracted from your selfie or video with the photo in your government issued identity document and (ii) prevent and detect fraud, including by using your facial scan data to determine whether Au10tix has previously verified your identity on our behalf.  Au10tix will process, store, retain and delete your personal information, including biometric data, in accordance with Au10tix's Privacy Policy and Biometric Data Policy, available at https://www.au10tix.com/privacy-notice/ and https://www.au10tix.com/legal/biometric-data-policy/.

Solaris or IDNow(“Solaris”)

• For app users in Germany, we may use Solaris to verify your identity through verification of identifiable personal information. Solaris will process, store, retain and delete your personal information, including biometric data, in accordance with Solaris’ Privacy Policy, available at https://www.solarisbank.com/en/privacy-policy/. 

WebID (“WebID”)

• For web users in Germany, we may use WebID to verify your identity through verification of identifiable personal information. WebID will process, store, retain and delete your personal information, including biometric data, in accordance with WebID’s Privacy Policy, available at https://webid-solutions.de/privacy-policy/.
