Solabrador originated with the idea that everybody should be able to participate in blockchain technology and that the barrier for entry is in range. Though there are several meme tokens, most of them are prohibitively expensive to trade and transfer. According to its whitepaper, the main goal of Solabrador is to expose the general population to cryptocurrency. By focusing on Solana, the platform seeks to encourage adoption by having fun while learning about blockchain. The platform also intends to contribute a fixed number of SOLABs to charities for every five million increases in their market capitalization. In short, Solabrador aims to bring meme tokens back to their original function by enabling a decentralized economy that enables consumers to easily access products and services.

The native token of the platform is SOLAB. Because SOLAB is built on Solana, an economical and quick blockchain, users can send and receive the token for a small charge. Users can create a wallet to trade, send, and receive SOLABs. Solabrador offers a unique tier structure in which users earn additional SOLAB weekly by holding the required amount of SOLABs in their wallets.  

Solabrador's initial development phase, which began in 2021, sought to establish a social media presence and distribute tokens as broadly as possible by offering early liquidity and airdropping to the community and holders of other Solana initiatives.
