Welcome Barry Kwok to the team!

We’re excited to Barry Kwok has joined us here at Coinbase!

Barry is dedicated to building out world class teams. Most notably, he built out the engineering and design teams at Airbnb from 5 to 50 people. Prior to Airbnb, Barry built engineering teams for various tech companies in the Bay Area including Scribd and Google. He’s also helped venture capital firms like First Round Capital build out teams for their portfolio companies. Even though Barry is a people person now he’s still got technical chops — he holds a MEng in Computer Engineering, with Honors, from Queen Mary, University of London. He’s also a pretty dang good fencer.
