We’re excited to announce support for pre-launch markets on Coinbase International Exchange and Coinbase Advanced for users in eligible jurisdictions outside of the US, UK, and Canada.
What are pre-launch markets? These markets empower traders to trade perpetual futures contracts for tokens that are yet to launch. Once the underlying token is launched on relevant spot exchanges, these contracts seamlessly transition into standard perpetual futures contracts.
Our pre-launch markets will offer traders the opportunity to participate in price discovery of upcoming projects, all within a trusted and secure platform. Eligible traders are able to open long or short positions on an unlaunched token with up to 2x leverage.
Eligible institutional users can access pre-launch markets via Coinbase International Exchange and eligible retail traders can access pre-launch markets via Coinbase Advanced. To access Coinbase Advanced, simply log on to coinbase.com or the Coinbase mobile app, tap the menu, and toggle on Advanced. Ensure your mobile app is up to date with the latest version for the best experience.
