The response from our payment buttons announcement has been great, and we’ve been hard at work on adding more merchant tools.

Hosted Payment Pages are now available.

Hosted payment pages work well in situations where embedding javascript is not an option (emails, twitter links, Craigslist posts, etc) and provides another way to accept bitcoin payments and donations on your site.

Redirect urls provide a convenient way to send users back to your site after they’ve completed payment.

Email Invoices are also now available on the merchant tools page.

Payment Button Improvements

We’ve been listening to your feedback and have cleaned up a few items on payment buttons including:

  • embedding the button on your site no longer conflicts with jQuery (or other javascript libraries)

  • you can now use

    custom javascript events

to show or hide the payment window

  • you can now use

    your own button

(instead of one of our pre-generated ones) to trigger the payment window

  • general performance improvements

As always, we’ll keep you updated as we continue to make progress. Thanks!
